hey i did everything right, im clicking my shortcut dropmod and it pulls up a window. and when i type my difficulty it makes game, for instance i type 1 and it makes game. but when im in game i kill monsters and nothing drops. plz help?

| Ye, Hi, I just downloaded it, did everything u said to do, and when the prompt comes up, i press 1, or wtv, and it says it can't find the Game.exe. It's in the right directory, and the game.exe is there... the game.exe doesnt exactly say game.exe, but it sais Game, and when i click on it, it opens d2, so i no its in the right place. How do i fix this? Do i have to change wut the program has to look for or something? I no its in the right directory cuz the "Game" is there... |

Is there a reason why set items won't drop in hell mode? My friend and I just played through the entire act I-V of it via TCP/IP and not a single set item dropped (certainly nothing for our character classes).
I should note we were playing it in training mode to maximize the chance, although that might have been the problem. |

| I want to use the drop mod but start my character at lvl 30 in act 5 so i dont have do the boring stuff and get tons of worthless rares. Problem is every character editor doesnt work (probably from the extra skill) and i get invalid stats error when trying to load the file if I edit it. Is there a way to edit a character and level them and change stats etc and use the item drop plugin? Or is there an old version of drop mod that doesnt have the MF? |

When asking for support!
1. Do not state you installed everything correctly, instead post your steps in detail.
2. IS the data folder and the DROPMOD_Start.bat in your diablo2 folder (diablo2 folder = where the game is installed, contains patch exe and dll files) | seen people who forgot the extract the files from the files folder and just copied the whole thing in to their d2 dir
3. When you start the game from the new shortcut do you get the difficulty prompt
4. After the game starts do you see the new start screen?
5. When your getting - Bad character stats message, make sure you read the readme (already stated in the introduction part "to prevent abuse of this mod characters will not be compatible with normal characters"
6. Dont forget. Mods do not work on closed battle.net and any such questions or discussions are strictly forbidden here. |

Yep, open the bat file in notepad - change the lines with
START Game.exe -direct -txt
to
START Game.exe -direct -txt -w |
